One of the most common questions asked by those in need of treatment is, “how am I going to pay for it?”
The cost of treatment often acts as a barrier, but it doesn’t need to be.
If you or your loved one need treatment, Corner Canyon Health Centers (CCHC) offers several financial options, including utilizing insurance if your policy has out of network benefits. Let’s work together to get you the treatment you deserve.
Most private health plans will cover a portion of mental health and addiction treatment. If you’re not sure what’s covered or what to ask your insurance provider, Corner Canyon Health Centers will assist you.
Please submit our insurance form, which will allow CCHC to gather all necessary insurance information and then run a VOB (verification of benefits). This provides us with the breakdown of your insurance policy, providing insight into coverage, deductible amounts, co-insurance, etc. Once the VOB is complete and we know there is coverage, we will notify you what the upfront costs will be.
Keep in mind that just because you have insurance and coverage, authorization will need to be given by your insurance provider. This will require an assessment with you as a potential client.
Following this assessment, Corner Canyon Health Center will submit all necessary information to the insurance company for approval. Insurance coverage is based on medical necessity. However, Corner Canyon has a great success rate with getting approvals for those who are seeking treatment.
When you contact Corner Canyon, our billing team will handle all the pre-authorizations, submission of claims, utilization reviews, peer-to-peer reviews, and any appeals that are part of getting treatment coverage by your insurance provider.
Corner Canyon Health Center does not have an employed insurance broker. If you do not have insurance and seek enrollment, we will happily recommend a few local brokers or direct you to the marketplace.
Corner Canyon Health Center does not accept Medicaid or Medicare. We can, however, work with marketplace plans if the policy has out-of-network benefits. This is typically referred to as a PPO (Preferred Provider Organization) plan. Again, CCHC will know this information following the VOB.
We also can also offer payment plans for up to three months. This is something you can discuss with the Corner Canyon team.
