What People Say about Corner Canyon

  • I spent three months at CCR for PTSD/trauma treatment, and I cannot speak more highly of my experience!!! The clinical staff is highly effective, the RAs are compassionate and helpful, and the atmosphere among clients felt like a big family to me. I miss them all so much! CCR is trauma-focused and gives you the tools needed to become a more self-aware, happier and healthier version of yourself. I was truly at rock bottom when I walked through the doors, and I will always credit CCR with changing my life. Thank you so much to everyone there!!! I love and miss you!

  • Corner Canyon changed my life. I was in a dark place when I entered the facility in 2020 and my experience there gave me perspective on what led me to that point in my life. The staff cares, the house is beautiful, and the surrounding area is great. I couldn’t recommend this place more highly. If you or someone you know is suffering this is the place to go!

  • A year ago I was beat up by traumatic events and struggling with my daily life. I live in IL, but found Corner Canyon and flew to UT. That was one of the best decisions I have made in my life. The staff challenged me and loved me where I was at at the same time. The people there left a positive impact on my life. If you are hurting and need help for addiction or trauma, they will meet you where your at. You have to put in the work, but if you show up daily and do the work you will see change happen in your life and the lives around you. I recommend you give yourself a chance to have a fresh start. The beginning can be hard, but don’t give up before the miracle happens.

  • I’m so grateful for Corner Canyon! I spent three months there and had a wonderful experience. The staff and clinical team are very professional and compassionate. This was my second inpatient and I can say this was by far a better facility. I’m happy to say after learning how to love life and use the tools they taught me I’m still living a great life in recovery.

  • I went to Corner Canyon for recovery from Childhood Developmental Trauma and Complex PTSD. It is the only facility I could find that would heal the brain, re-integrate traumatic memories, and provide recovery skills for managing behaviors. The clinical and residential staff are outstanding in their field and provide a loving, supportive environment. My stay at Corner Canyon is one of the toughest, most rewarding experiences of my life, and I will be forever grateful.

  • Corner canyon was a life changing experience for me. The staff are very helpful and I enjoyed living in the house with them. My therapist, Tysa Slade, was a perfect fit for me she was the best therapist I have ever had and she changed my perspective on life in a way I never thought imaginable. Truly the best therapist I could ever ask for. I have been to other treatment facilities and this was by far the most useful experience in my recovery. I am forever grateful for the amazing staff and clinical team at corner canyon. If you are struggling with mental health and/or addiction, this is the right place for you.

  • I was at Corner Canyon for almost three months, and it was the most healing experience for me. Difficult, but healing. I was very nervous and unsure about going into residential treatment (partially because I have kids at home), but the environment was so welcoming and the therapy was incredible. There were several different modalities of therapy that we worked on each week for a well-rounded treatment that was worth the time spent there. Although you’re assigned one personal therapist, all of the therapists and staff are available to you, and they were all so kind and experienced. I mainly worked with Alicen Kettenring, and she was SO helpful. Her knowledge of trauma and EMDR was life-changing for me. I highly recommend Corner Canyon to anyone who is struggling and needing time in a healing environment to focus on their mental health. PS: the food is SO GOOD
